LiDAR sensors can create detailed, three-dimensional maps of the forklift's surroundings by emitting laser beams and measuring the time it takes for the light to return after hitting objects. This data allows the forklift to identify obstacles in its path and take corrective actions to avoid collisions.

Our LiDAR sensor LiSSA Industrial is suitable for many short and medium range applications. The LiDAR is purely solid state, using a 2D SPAD detector. The sensor has very small dimensions, so it can be installed in a very space-saving way.
